[SOLVED] Flash plugin crashed on Google Chrome on Windows

I was just watching Youtube on my Chrome after the latest update on my Windows 7. And the Chrome suddenly stopped working. I tried opening and it crashed again and again. And I went to ask my friend about this and he had the same problem on Windows 8 too. So, it was might be like some chrome problem or the flash problem. I re-installed both Chrome and Flash plugin but it started crashing again and again. So, I went to the Chrome Application directory: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\ on folder named Google you can find user data. I backed up the folder and deleted it. I re-lunched the Google Chrome, so I just tried opening the browser it was kinda like fluctuating. It sometimes gets crashed and sometimes not.

Then I tried to think more and more. The video used to jam and Audio used to continue. And after that I found when ever you run the mouse on the flash window, the flash plays everything. But if the focus gets lost the video play is stored in Buffer memory and with the overflow it crashes. After hat I tried it to unfocus and found that in the previous stream, I used to unfocus as I used to do some parallel works.

So, this can’t be the ultimate solution but can be seemed to have a point that you can Click on the taskbar while you start playing a video rather focusing on the video.

Enjoy youtube. 🙂

[HOWTO] Run Counter Strike game in Windows 8

Today I was playing CS online game on my p48 and few people came and asked for “How to run CS 1.6 in my Windows 8?”. It was just loaded on Software mode and bad graphics. And I researched on my friend’s Windows. Previously we couldn’t play Angry birds on the same PC and did some research. And found that the internal default graphics driver needs to be installed. Then I downloaded the Update for Windows and download the remaining packages on windows 8. And found the remaining after the first update of Windows 8. And clearly see the Intel graphics driver. Then I ran the Angry birds and it went good.

After the successful test for Angry birds, I tried opening the game in OpenGL mode and whoooo it ran successfully and very smooth. I can’t feel the difference in any part between the previously played game and now. But the fps has decreased but soon the bug might be fixed for Windows 8.

So, I suggest you to download first:

Update for Windows (KBXXXXX)
And after few minutes, try checking for windows update or restart Windows
It automatically checks for update and install the Intel graphics driver.

Happy fragging.

[SOLVED] Couldnot start service Apache Tomcat server on Windows

Hi, my uncle have a Laptop with Windows 7 and asked me to configure Apache Tomcat server on his PC. After I installed the server, it worked and from the very next day it didn’t start at the startup nor the manual start. I opened the “services.msc” and viewed the service, but still no luck on starting. I viewed the location of the service and found something like “tomcat7.exe //RC//Apache“(I really forgot that). Then I opened the location where the bin folder is located on the explorer. So I opened: Program Files\Apache…\Tomcat\bin\

After that I opened a Command prompt there and tried opening the Tomcat.exe with required parameter and found that there is some missing dll. After that I opened the log file and saw something as:

[error] The specified module could not be found.
[error] Failed creating java C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\client\jvm.dll
[error] The specified module could not be found.
[error] ServiceStart returned 1
[error] The specified module could not be found.

So, I traced the path for C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\client\jvm.dll found that the file is missing and I tried locating the file in another location. Since my uncle isn’t any developer, he hasn’t kept any jre and I found it on JDK location. Then I followed some steps as on the image below:

tomcat1 tomcat2 tomcat3

In the image above it have # I browsed and located the jre jvm location.

Hope this solution works
